CNC Machinist Philadelphia
Overview
Lead precision manufacturing by operating mill and lathe CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications. Manage setup calibration tool selection quality assurance through inspections. Develop and modify CNC programs while maintaining optimal machine performance.
What You'll Do7
- 1Operate mill and lathe CNC machines safely and efficiently
- 2Set up machines and calibrate tools for each production run
- 3Inspect parts for quality and adherence to blueprints
- 4Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production
- 5Troubleshoot machine issues and resolve problems promptly
- 6Modify existing CNC programs and create new programs as needed
- 7Perform routine maintenance to maintain optimal machine performance
Requirements6
- 15+ years experience in CNC machining
- 2Proficiency in CNC programming and G-Code
- 3Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills
- 4Knowledge of machine maintenance and quality control processes
- 5Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving ability
- 6High attention to detail and commitment to safety awareness
Salary Insight
