Overview

Primus Aerospace is a leading manufacturing partner to aerospace defense and space OEMs producing high-tolerance complex geometry parts. This role owns setup machining processes for Mission critical civilian and defense programs.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Setup Machinist* -$28/hr -$42/hr with 20% shift differential
  • 2Verify dimensional characteristics of parts
  • 3Meet expected cycle times and production schedule
  • 4Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner
  • 5Read blueprints and use hand tools
  • 6Prioritize tasks and maintain production goals
  • 7Maintain high-level security clearance
  • 8Operate CNC machines from provided work instructions
  • 9Coordinate x y z movements
  • 10Knowledge of machining principles
  • 11Indicate vices

Requirements8

  • 1Previous CNC Operator experience or technical school course work completed
  • 23 years experience with machine setups
  • 3Reading blueprints and using hand tools
  • 4Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain production goals
  • 5Self-starter with a good attitude
  • 6Attention to detail and strong desire to produce quality products
  • 7Experience in aerospace or defense machining environment preferred
  • 8Eligibility for and ability to maintain a high-level security clearance
