Overview
You will provide compassionate care to seniors in Raleigh and surrounding areas, supporting daily living activities and companionship. Join the oldest non-medical home care franchise in the U.S., founded in 1982, with a mission to empower clients to stay home. You will work with a supportive team that offers flexible scheduling, CNA license verification, and ongoing training. Shifts range 2-12 hours, weekdays and weekends, with pay between $17-$25 per hour plus overtime and mileage.
What You'll Do9
- 1Support seniors compassionately by assisting with personal care like bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- 2Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
- 3Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation, activities, and active listening.
- 4Report health changes to supervisors and family members, documenting observations accurately.
- 5Assist with specialized care needs such as mobility support, transfer assistance, and dementia care.
- 6Respect client dignity and privacy, enhancing their quality of life and independence.
- 7Demonstrate excellent communication and reliability by arriving on time and following care plans.
- 8Maintain a caring and compassionate attitude, adapting to each client's unique needs.
- 9Assist with home care tasks like laundry, errands, and escorting clients to appointments.
Requirements7
- 1CNA license required and valid in North Carolina.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
- 4Must be local to Raleigh and surrounding areas.
- 5TB clearance documentation required.
- 6Positive, communicative, and honest personal qualities.
- 7Ability to pass background check and reference verification.
