CNA/PCA Per Diem Caregiver, Durham Home Care
Overview
Own client care for a per diem caseload in Durham and surrounding areas, starting immediately with 30-40 hours available for qualified caregivers. You'll deliver companion and personal care in clients' homes, operating under a documented plan of care and reporting to the Director of Nursing. What You'll Do9
- 1Provide companion care and personal care assistance to clients in their homes, following each client's plan of care
- 2Document care provided, time, and attendance accurately to maintain compliance
- 3Communicate client changes or concerns promptly to the Director of Nursing
- 4Maintain a safe environment while following agency policies and procedures
- 5Respond appropriately and professionally in emergency situations
- 6Use caregiving equipment safely and properly, including Hoyer lifts
- 7Maintain reliable attendance and arrive to shifts on time
- 8Submit shift availability at least two weeks in advance
- 9Assist with client transportation as needed
Requirements8
- 1Active North Carolina CNA license or proof of work experience for PCA applicants
- 2Hoyer Lift experience preferred
- 3Current TB test
- 4Current CPR certification
- 5Completion of all state-mandated training requirements
- 6Valid North Carolina driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- 7Willingness to transport clients
- 8Outstanding communication and customer service skills
