What You'll Do11
- 1Own daily patient care tasks per care plan
- 2Assist transfers and mobility throughout client homes
- 3Support daily living activities including bathing grooming dressing oral care toileting feeding
- 4Engage clients emotionally through companionship activities
- 5Maintain clean environments via light housekeeping duties
- 6Implement prescribed range-of-motion exercises
- 7Remind clients about self-administered medications
- 8Provide transportation for appointments social events shopping errands
- 9Document care activities and report client condition changes
- 10Communicate effectively with clients families and healthcare team
- 11Wear clean presentable scrubs unless instructed
Requirements9
- 1High school graduate or equivalent
- 2Certified nursing assistant with current license and CPR/First Aid certification
- 3Minimum one year full-time patient care experience in institutional setting or five years in agency settings
- 4Dementia or Alzheimer's experience preferred
- 5Valid driver's license reliable transportation and auto insurance
- 6Ability to read write and follow written plans bilingual ability a plus
- 7Positive attitude toward patients families and staff
- 8Integrity compassion flexibility adaptability
- 9Listed on nurse aide registry with no findings related to client safety issues
