Club Attendant Job at 24 Hour Fitness in San Francisco
Overview
You will own the cleanliness and member experience at a 24 Hour Fitness club in San Francisco. You'll keep the facility in a healthy, orderly standard through daily cleaning and maintenance tasks. You'll partner with the Facilities Technician and report to the General Manager. This role suits someone who takes pride in a spotless gym and works well without direct supervision.
What You'll Do10
- 1Clean and dust walls, mirrors, countertops, glass, and windows across all club areas.
- 2Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors in locker rooms, weight area, cardio, office, hallways, stairs, and more.
- 3Dust and clean all weight and cardio equipment.
- 4Restock supplies and empty garbage and recycling containers.
- 5Complete daily and weekly scope of work as assigned.
- 6Perform special cleaning projects as directed.
- 7Clean wet areas if applicable: pool deck, vacuuming pool, steam room, sauna, and run regular pool chemical tests.
- 8Apply minor cosmetic repairs on equipment: rust removal, touch-up paint, re-labeling.
- 9Partner with Facilities Technician on equipment maintenance per preventive guide.
- 10Report facility issues through Service Channel and member complaints to General Manager.
Requirements10
- 1Six months of janitorial experience.
- 2High School Diploma or GED.
- 3Understand and follow written instructions.
- 4Communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
- 5Work independently with minimal supervision.
- 6Strong attention to detail.
- 7Establish cooperative working relationships.
- 8Ability to stand, walk, use hands and arms regularly; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.
- 9Lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- 10Willingness to travel between clubs as needed.
