Overview

You will lead clinical and administrative staff across our Partial Hospital Program and outpatient services in Detroit, ensuring high-quality psychiatric care. Reporting to the Clinical Director, you will shape daily operations, mentor incoming staff, and drive program development. With 1-3 years of clinical leadership experience, you will intervene in crisis situations and maintain TLLP, LLC, LLMSW, or LLP licensure. What You'll Do9

  • 1Direct daily PHP operations with the Site Director, facilitating morning team meetings and reviewing census reports to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • 2Supervise clinical and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative team culture and providing performance feedback.
  • 3Deliver therapeutic services including assessments, intakes, and group therapy, applying person-centered care standards.
  • 4Author treatment plans and clinical case notes within 48 hours of sessions, ensuring compliance with agency policies.
  • 5Manage discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for seamless patient transitions within the first 90 days.
  • 6Resolve crisis situations using critical thinking, ensuring client safety and documenting interventions per protocol.
  • 7Mentor new PHP staff during onboarding, guiding them through policies and clinical protocols.
  • 8Lead program development initiatives, evaluate effectiveness, and represent the organization in community outreach.
  • 9Ensure billing compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers, optimizing revenue and access.

Requirements8

  • 1Master's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology from an accredited program.
  • 2Active clinical licensure in Michigan: TLLP, LLC, LLMSW, or LLP; full licensure preferred.
  • 31-3 years of progressively responsible clinical experience in behavioral health settings.
  • 4Strong collaboration skills, working effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • 5Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Electronic Medical Record systems.
  • 6Excellent written and verbal communication for clinical documentation and team coordination.
  • 7Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed, with reliable transportation between locations.
  • 8Demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards.
