- 1Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient centered care
- 2Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care services in collaboration with management
- 3Collaborate with experts to create a teamwork environment supporting improved outcomes
- 4Support patient first philosophy and engage in service recovery
- 5Operationalize nursing strategies including employee rounding and conflict resolution
- 6Provide recommendations for training development and performance evaluations
- 7Assist with staff scheduling and manage practical aspects of labor
- 8Maintain inventory control and manage supplies and equipment
- 9Ensure compliance with personnel policies and complete performance reviews
- 10Support recruitment and training of new staff
- 11Manage compensation and benefits administration
Requirements9
- 11 year NICU RN experience
- 21 year acute care nursing experience preferred
- 3Current Texas RN license or Compact License obtainable within 90 days
- 4Basic Life Support certification as per policy
- 5Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification as per policy
- 6St. David's Medical Center S.T.A.B.L.E. Neonatal Education Program Certification preferred
- 7Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- 8Active license in Texas
- 9Familiarity with emergency response protocols
