Cleaning Attendant, Residential & Commercial
Overview
Cleaning Attendant owns daily sanitation and organization for residential and commercial spaces in the Atlanta area, including offices and multi-unit buildings. This role reports to the operations lead and works alongside a small team of cleaners to maintain consistent quality across all assigned sites. You will handle every surface from floors to glass, restrooms, and linens, with full ownership of your designated areas. The role offers steady contract work with a growing local company that values reliability and attention to detail.
What You'll Do8
- 1Clean floors in assigned rooms and offices using dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming to maintain a polished finish.
- 2Dust all surfaces, pick up larger objects from the floor, and spot clean glass and windows for clear visibility.
- 3Sanitize restrooms by cleaning and disinfecting fixtures, mirrors, partition doors and walls, and cleaning toilets and urinals, then restock dispensers with soap, paper towels, and tissue.
- 4Empty trash bins, replace liners, and transport dirty linens to the laundry area, then restock clean linens in all assigned spaces.
- 5Set up and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, including stocking carts and ensuring tools are in working order.
- 6Monitor assigned areas to keep them organized and sanitary, addressing any issues immediately.
- 7Assist other departments with cleaning tasks when needed to maintain service levels for clients.
- 8Perform additional duties as directed by the supervisor to support team goals.
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 2Previous cleaning experience is a plus.
- 3Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- 4Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with team members and clients.
- 5Ability to work independently and solve problems as they arise.
- 6Reliable and responsible with a strong work ethic.
- 7Comfortable working as part of a team and supporting others when needed.
