Own the Civil 3D production for large site development and environmental projects from concept through construction. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage surfaces, grading models, and earthwork analyses for large-acreage sites
- 2Design grading plans, site layouts, and earthwork models for landfills, remediation sites, ash ponds, utilities, and industrial facilities
- 3Develop alignments, profiles, and site access layouts for civil infrastructure
- 4Create and maintain stormwater pipe networks and utility systems
- 5Leverage advanced Civil 3D tools including feature lines, corridors, grading groups, data shortcuts, and sheet sets
- 6Work closely with engineers to produce construction-ready drawings
- 7Support stormwater design and multidisciplinary project coordination
- 8Mentor junior designers and elevate CAD standards and workflows
- 9Own the design process on large complex projects from concept through construction
- 10Deliver high-quality CAD outputs consistent with project requirements
Requirements10
- 15+ years of Civil 3D experience on real-world civil design projects
- 2Deep experience with grading design, surfaces, and earthwork calculations
- 3Proven ability to work on large-scale sites (100+ acres)
- 4Strong understanding of pipe networks, alignments, profiles, and stormwater systems
- 5Comfortable serving as a Civil 3D power user supporting engineering teams
- 6High attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
- 7Clear interest in building a long-term career as a designer
- 8Experience mentoring or reviewing work of junior designers
- 9Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field
- 10Experience with ArcGIS, MicroStation, Map 3D or Subassembly Composer is a plus
