What You'll Do11
- 1Inspect and repair electrical systems and equipment
- 2Locate and determine electrical malfunctions
- 3Repair electrical components of pneumatic hydraulic or electronic equipment
- 4Perform electrical preventive maintenance
- 5Maintain calibration and repair schedules for electrical test equipment
- 6Assume duties of Senior Electrician as required
- 7Lead tasks of junior electricians and provide training
- 8Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms
- 9Follow safety guidelines and security measures
- 10Respond to emergency situations including after-hours
- 11Report to work during essential personnel shifts
Requirements8
- 1Journeyman Electrician license or four years of apprenticeship experience
- 2Valid Texas driver's license
- 3Class C Surface Water Treatment Operator License within three years
- 4High school diploma or GED
- 5Knowledge of electrical theory and safety practices
- 6Basic computer skills for maintenance management systems
- 7Physical ability to climb ladders and handle heavy equipment
- 8Experience with electrical schematics and one-line drawings
