What You'll Do11
- 1Prepare monthly unit schedules ensuring full coverage and manage add-on cases
- 2Support performance reviews and provide constructive counseling
- 3Document patient information promptly for personnel files
- 4Utilize time efficiently to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- 5Communicate courteously with internal and external stakeholders
- 6Maintain respectful relationships with colleagues across departments
- 7Conduct hourly rounding using the AIDET technique to enhance patient outcomes
- 8Apply the Caring Model and culturally competent practices in patient care
- 9Monitor staff adherence to customer service standards and reinforce hospital goals
- 10Follow admission discharge and transfer policies for optimal patient flow
- 11Assist Nurse Leader with record updates and department reporting
Requirements10
- 1Associate's degree in Nursing required
- 2Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- 3Minimum 1 year RN experience in critical care or related field
- 4Leadership experience preferred
- 5Basic life support CPR certification required
- 6National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale proficiency required
- 7Neonatal resuscitation certification required
- 8Physical stamina to perform essential job functions
- 9Ability to pass Florida Level 2 background screening
- 10Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
