What You'll Do7
- 1Prepare and maintain sterile fields for cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, ensuring surgical instruments and implants are ready.
- 2Scrub and assist the surgeon during operations, passing instruments and anticipating needs.
- 3Coordinate daily OR schedules and workflow, balancing case priorities and surgeon preferences.
- 4Manage inventory of surgical supplies, placing orders and tracking stock levels.
- 5Oversee OR efficiency by enforcing safety and sterilization standards.
- 6Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nurses to deliver exceptional patient care.
- 7Assist with room turnover between cases, restocking and cleaning to keep the OR ready.
Requirements6
- 1Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
- 23-5 years of operating room experience, with plastic surgery experience strongly preferred.
- 3Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation.
- 4Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- 5Ability to multitask in a team-oriented environment.
- 6Professional, positive attitude with exceptional attention to detail.
