What You'll Do7
- 1Deliver daily care activities under RN supervision focusing on geriatric psychiatric needs
- 2Address diverse patient requirements including hearing sight substance abuse language barriers and abuse concerns
- 3Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
- 4Provide compassionate communication in English to patients and staff
- 5Prioritize tasks to meet urgent clinical demands
- 6Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to align care with patient goals
- 7Document observations accurately in electronic health records
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2One year nursing assistant experience or current nursing student completing Fundamentals of Nursing I & II
- 3Valid Massachusetts CNA license or proof of enrollment in accredited program
- 4Current BLS certification mandatory
- 5Ability to pass de‑escalation training within 30 days of hire
- 6Computer proficiency preferred
- 7Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- 8Demonstrated empathy and responsiveness to varied patient populations
- 9Preference for adult geriatric psychiatric experience
