What You'll Do8

  • 1Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating during your first 90 days.
  • 2Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, using eClinicalWorks.
  • 3Document patient care accurately in Cerner and other medical records systems.
  • 4Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, building trust and rapport.
  • 5Help with mobility and safe transport of residents within the facility.
  • 6Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans for each resident.
  • 7Maintain a clean, safe patient environment, reducing infection risks and falls.
  • 8Administer medications under nursing direction, following CNA protocol.

Requirements8

  • 1CNA certification in Pennsylvania or compact state.
  • 21+ year experience in hospital, assisted living, or geriatric care preferred.
  • 3Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or Cerner for medical records.
  • 4Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and common geriatric conditions.
  • 5Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and team.
  • 6Ability to lift and transfer patients, up to 50 pounds.
  • 7Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
  • 8Pass background check and drug screening.
