What You'll Do11
- 1Assist in delivering accurate medical care under RN or provider direction
- 2Prepare examination rooms and gather necessary supplies for each patient
- 3Conduct vital signs measurements and record patient data
- 4Perform vision screens, phlebotomy, and other approved clinical tasks
- 5Draw blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
- 6Review medication lists and communicate patient education
- 7Maintain accurate medical records and update immunization registries
- 8Collaborate with external clinics to obtain immunization histories
- 9Ensure compliance with OSHA CLIA and HIPAA regulations
- 10Train new medical assistants and support nursing staff
- 11Calibrate equipment and monitor compliance logs
Requirements10
- 1Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program with current certification
- 2Current CPR certification and phlebotomy experience
- 3Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- 4Six months relevant healthcare experience
- 5Bilingual English Spanish fluency
- 6Ability to travel facility-wide and community settings
- 7Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- 8Experience with electronic health records preferred
- 9Prior FQHC work experience
- 10Trauma-informed care approach
