What You'll Do11
- 1Perform point-of-care laboratory tests and EKGs as ordered or indicated
- 2Collect and document vital signs histories and screenings
- 3Authorize prescription refills as directed
- 4Prepare patients room and supplies for visits
- 5Perform phlebotomy and process specimens
- 6Clean and maintain treatment rooms and equipment
- 7Demonstrate kindness and compassion in patient interactions
- 8Perform quality controls and equipment checks
- 9Participate in brand marketing rotating throughout vestibule
- 10Prepare and administer medications according to provider orders
- 11Provide medication administration instructions to patients
Requirements5
- 1Certified Medical Assistant required 1 year experience preferred
- 2Phlebotomy experience required
- 3Current BLS certification for healthcare providers required
- 4High School Diploma/Equivalency required
- 5Experience in primary care family practice internal medicine urgent care preferred
