Certified Medical Assistant, Primary Care - 1 Evening/Week, NYC Area
Overview
Own patient intake, vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG, and front desk duties in a busy primary care practice with strong team support. You will collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver quality care at scale in New York. This role offers full or part time hours, no weekend shifts, and one evening per week. What You'll Do5
- 1Build patient intake workflows and document in EMR to ensure accurate triage and scheduling
- 2Perform vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG, and related clinical tasks with precise documentation
- 3Assist in front desk and lab duties to keep appointment flow smooth and efficient
- 4Collaborate with clinicians to support coordinated care and patient education
- 5Document accurately and maintain clean, organized records to support billing and compliance
Requirements6
- 1Degree from an accredited Medical Assistant Program
- 2EMR experience preferred
- 31-2 years experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- 4Excellent interpersonal, communication and telephone skills
- 5Ability to multi task in a busy environment
- 6Onsite role in New York, NY with one evening per week and no weekend hours
