What You'll Do6
- 1Administer injections and assist with IV procedures
- 2Perform patient triage and chart preparation
- 3Obtain lab specimens and complete requisitions accurately
- 4Prepare exam rooms and assist with procedures
- 5Alert provider to problems or abnormalities
- 6Perform simple patient procedures and assist with medications under direct supervision
Requirements5
- 1Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training
- 2Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- 3Phlebotomy experience
- 4Ability to administer injections
- 5Strong communication organization and teamwork skills
