Seeking a dedicated Lifeguard Swim Instructor to lead our team at a premier aquatic therapy center. What You'll Do12
- 1Design and deliver swim lessons that promote confidence and safety for all participants
- 2Maintain vigilant supervision of pool areas at all times
- 3Assist patrons with mobility challenges using specialized equipment
- 4Conduct timely arrivals and departures as scheduled
- 5Prepare fully equipped uniforms including waterproof bags and whistles
- 6Perform water rescues and administer first aid when needed
- 7Enforce all pool rules and safety protocols consistently
- 8Keep the pool deck clean and organized throughout shifts
- 9Monitor and report equipment status daily before opening
- 10Document chemical logs accurately and communicate any irregularities
- 11Secure all pool access points when unattended
- 12Collaborate with supervisors on additional departmental tasks
Requirements7
- 1Minimum age of 16 years
- 2Current CPR certification for professional rescuer
- 3Valid Standard First Aid certification
- 4Active Lifeguard or Red Cross certification
- 5WSI or equivalent aquatic therapy certification
- 65+ years experience in lifeguarding or aquatic therapy
- 7Proven ability to remain calm under pressure
