What You'll Do10

  • 7Partner with nursing and therapy teams to adjust menus for specific dietary needs.
  • 8Launch one quality improvement project each quarter, like reducing plate waste.
  • 9Manage the department budget, spotting savings in supplies and labor.
  • 10Run monthly in-services on HACCP updates and sanitation practices.

Requirements10

  • 1CDM credential from ANFP or similar body.
  • 2Associate's degree in nutrition or food service management.
  • 31-5 years in a skilled nursing or medical facility, with 1+ years supervising dietary staff.

  • 5Track record of training and motivating kitchen teams.
