What You'll Do6
- 1Safely operate commercial trucks such as dump trucks following all DOT and state transportation regulations
- 2Load and unload heavy machinery and plumbing materials
- 3Drive route schedules efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
- 4Conduct routine vehicle inspections including checking air brake systems
- 5Assist crew operations including operating and labor
- 6Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during jobsite dropoffs
Requirements7
- 1Valid Commercial Driver’s License CDL class A with appropriate endorsements for manual transmission and air brakes
- 2Proven experience in commercial truck driving and machine operating
- 3Strong knowledge of traffic laws DOT regulations hazardous materials regulations and safety protocol adherence
- 4Mechanical knowledge related to truck operation and maintenance ability to perform basic repairs
- 5Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions
- 6Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and air brake systems
- 7Excellent defensive driving skills combined with a commitment to safety and efficiency
