Overview
We seek reliable CDL Class A drivers for our growing team in Orlando. You will transport freight safely and on schedule using various commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate has proven experience with multiple trailer types and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
What You'll Do8
- 1Safely operate tractor-trailers and specialized equipment such as refrigerated trailers flatbeds tankers dump trucks and roll-off trucks
- 2Load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as needed
- 3Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to meet safety DOT and company standards
- 4Follow assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- 5Maintain accurate records of driving hours deliveries inspections and vehicle maintenance
- 6Secure cargo properly to prevent damage and ensure safe transportation
- 7Complete deliveries on schedule while maintaining professional driving practices
- 8Communicate promptly with dispatch about route updates delays or delivery concerns
Requirements9
- 1Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
- 2Previous experience with manual transmission commercial vehicles preferred
- 3Experience hauling refrigerated flatbed tanker dump or roll-off trailers is highly desirable
- 4Strong knowledge of freight handling cargo securement route planning and loading unloading procedures
- 5Forklift operating experience is a plus
- 6Thorough understanding of DOT regulations and commercial transportation safety standards
- 7Excellent driving skills focused on safety efficiency and reliability
- 8Ability to work independently manage long-haul routes and maintain good time management
- 9Previous delivery driving experience preferred but training provided as needed
