Overview
Drive cross-country routes in a Volvo VNL or Freightliner Cascadia under 5 years old, hauling reefer or flatbed freight for Westfield Express Corp. You own your schedule with options from 28 days on/7 off to 2-3 weeks on/3-4 off. Earn $8,000+ weekly on reefer or $10,000+ weekly on flatbed, with consistent 4,000+ miles per week. This role fits drivers who want modern equipment, transparent pay, and a team that respects your time on the road.
What You'll Do9
- 1Operate Class A trucks safely across the U.S., hauling reefer or flatbed freight per route assignments.
- 2Secure and inspect cargo, including tarping flatbed loads for compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- 3Manage daily logs and electronic logging device (ELD) entries to ensure hours of service compliance.
- 4Communicate dispatch updates on location, delivery status, and any delays using Qualcomm or mobile app.
- 5Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting maintenance issues to keep fleet standards high.
- 6Deliver on-time shipments while maintaining fuel efficiency and safe driving practices.
- 7Handle paperwork accurately, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- 8Adapt to varying weather and traffic conditions to meet tight delivery windows.
- 9Collaborate with the dispatch team to optimize routes and reduce idle time.
Requirements9
- 1Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
- 26+ months of OTR or regional driving experience, preferably with reefer or flatbed.
- 3Flatbed drivers need tarping experience and ability to secure loads with chains and straps.
- 4Must pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
- 5Ability to handle 4,000+ miles per week and long periods away from home.
- 6Strong knowledge of FMCSA hours of service regulations and ELD usage.
- 7No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- 8No DUI/DWI in the past 7 years.
- 9Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions.
