Overview
Lead a Cath Lab team in a high acuity cardiac environment overseeing patient care from preprocedure to postprocedure outcomes. You’ll join a supportive clinical group delivering precise procedural nursing in a 13-week contract with consistent 36 hour weeks. This role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and the cardiac care team, rigorous documentation, and rapid response to urgent cardiac events.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build patient care plans around cardiac catheterization procedures to achieve optimal outcomes
- 2Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures ensuring safety and protocol adherence
- 3Collaborate with physicians and the cardiac team to coordinate care and documentation
- 4Document clinical data accurately and maintain regulatory compliance
- 5Respond to urgent and emergent cardiac situations with critical thinking
- 6Participate in required call coverage and maintain readiness for after-hours duties
Requirements5
- 1Active RN license
- 2Recent Cath Lab experience with strong cardiac nursing and procedural knowledge
- 3Ability to work scheduled shifts and participate in required call
- 4Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
- 5Must live 50+ miles from Mesa assignment; local candidates not accepted
