Overview
Own cardiac procedural care in a 115-bed community hospital cath lab with 1:1 patient ratios. Join a tight-knit team of 3-person cath and call teams covering diagnostics, PCIs, and advanced interventions. Work 4x10hr shifts with 8 days of weekday call and up to 6 days of weekend call monthly. What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver 1:1 patient care during left and right heart caths, PCIs, and advanced procedures including Rotablator, Shockwave, Impella, and IABP.
- 2Operate Merge Hemo and Meditech documentation systems to record procedural data accurately.
- 3Circulate and monitor patients receiving sedation, ensuring hemodynamic stability throughout cases.
- 4Cover cardiology patients in Non-invasive, CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine as part of floating duties.
- 5Coordinate with 3-person teams to prepare labs and manage equipment like Alaris pumps and Client xray.
- 6Take 8 days of weekday call and up to 6 days of weekend call monthly, responding within required timelines.
- 7Support IR, Specials, and vascular procedures leveraging advanced skills when scheduled.
- 8Maintain compliance with RN licensure and unit-specific policies, including dress code standards.
Requirements8
- 12+ years of cath lab experience with proficiency in both diagnostics and PCIs.
- 2Active RN licensure in Tennessee or compact state.
- 3Experience with monitoring, circulating, and sedation in a cath lab setting.
- 4Proficiency with Merge Hemo and Meditech documentation systems.
- 5Ability to scrub for procedures (if holding ARRT or RCIS certification).
- 6Preferred experience in community or mixed IR and cath lab settings.
- 7Advanced skills in IR, Specials, and vascular procedures preferred.
- 8Willingness to float to IR, XR, CT, MRI, or Nuclear Medicine based on modality.
