Cashier, Restaurant Counter Team Member
Overview
You'll handle all customer transactions at the counter, from taking orders to processing payments at Master Pizza. You'll keep the front of house clean and organized, restock supplies, and support your team during rushes. Working alongside a tight-knit crew, you'll ensure every guest leaves satisfied. This role is about delivering a warm, efficient experience that keeps people coming back.
What You'll Do8
- 1Greet customers with a smile and take orders accurately at the counter, phone, and online.
- 2Operate the POS system, process cash and card payments, and balance the till at shift end.
- 3Answer questions about the menu, ingredients, and specials, and suggest add-ons like drinks and desserts.
- 4Package to-go orders with precision, ensuring correct items and condiments.
- 5Keep the counter, dining area, and workstations spotless, and restock supplies and beverages.
- 6Collaborate with kitchen staff to confirm order accuracy and timing.
- 7Handle customer concerns calmly and escalate when needed to maintain a positive vibe.
- 8Follow food safety and cleanliness standards, and pitch in during peak hours.
Requirements8
- 11+ year in customer service or cashiering preferred, but we'll train the right person.
- 2Comfortable using a POS system and handling cash, credit, and prepaid cards.
- 3Friendly and clear communicator, able to answer questions and make suggestions.
- 4Steady under pressure, handling multiple orders and payments at once.
- 5Reliable, punctual, and ready to work weekends and evenings as needed.
- 6Aim for accuracy from day one, whether at the register or packing a to-go bag.
- 7Basic math skills for making change and reconciling the drawer.
- 8Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
