Overview

The ARK of DC seeks a dedicated Case Manager to lead substance use disorder services. What You'll Do11

  • 1Assess client needs and develop personalized service plans through family collaboration
  • 2Coordinate medical appointments and track resident finances
  • 3Lead crisis intervention and provide motivational counseling
  • 4Train and supervise staff while maintaining compliance with agency policies
  • 5Prepare comprehensive reports and manage case documentation
  • 6Facilitate group sessions promoting recovery and community engagement
  • 7Oversee facility maintenance and ensure regulatory compliance
  • 8Conduct evaluations and make referrals to appropriate service providers
  • 9Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care
  • 10Assist with discharge planning and transportation coordination
  • 11Develop and implement individualized habilitation strategies

Requirements11

  • 15+ years experience in substance abuse case management
  • 2Certification in Cognitive Processing Card or similar credential
  • 3Master's degree in Psychology Social Work or related field
  • 4Proven ability to work weekends and evenings
  • 5Strong knowledge of trauma-informed practices
  • 6Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • 7Experience with electronic health record systems
  • 8Ability to operate in fast paced settings
  • 9Commitment to ethical treatment of diverse populations
  • 10Familiarity with DC mental health regulations
  • 11Experience with behavioral health documentation standards
