Caregiver, Home Care & Senior Support
Overview
You will provide essential non-medical support to seniors and adults with disabilities, helping them stay safe and independent at home. You will own daily routines from personal care to companionship, with support from a team that values compassion. CPR certification is a plus, and you will document care using a smartphone. This role stands out because you can make a direct impact on someone's day, with flexible schedules and same-day phone screenings.
What You'll Do7
- 1Provide companionship and conversation, building trust with clients and families.
- 2Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding, ensuring dignity and comfort.
- 3Prepare meals and provide medication reminders, keeping clients nourished and safe.
- 4Perform light housekeeping and laundry, maintaining a clean and safe living space.
- 5Run errands and grocery shopping, and drive clients to appointments, using your reliable vehicle.
- 6Support daily routines and activities, adapting to each client's needs and preferences.
- 7Document care and clock in and out using a smartphone, with Google Maps for navigation.
Requirements8
- 11+ years experience with seniors or adults with disabilities preferred, but we will train the right person.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 3Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks.
- 4Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with active automobile insurance.
- 5Able to pass a criminal background check.
- 6Comfortable using a smartphone for documentation and time tracking.
- 7CNA or LNA certification is a plus.
- 8Experience with Dementia or Alzheimer's care is a plus.
