Overview
You will provide direct care and support to adults with disabilities in their homes, guiding daily activities and fostering community inclusion. What You'll Do10
- 1Assist individuals with daily living activities including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
- 2Accompany residents in the community to facilitate social engagement and participation.
- 3Implement therapeutic and behavioral plans in coordination with clinical staff.
- 4Document care provided and report observations to the care team.
- 5Maintain a safe and clean home environment.
- 6Build trusting relationships with residents and their families.
- 7Encourage independence and self-advocacy in daily choices.
- 8Provide transportation to appointments and errands using your own vehicle.
- 9Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- 10Support residents with mobility and physical activities.
Requirements10
- 118+ years of age.
- 2Hold a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
- 3Pass background and drug screening.
- 4Basic computer skills.
- 5Compassionate and reliable attitude.
- 6Ability to lift and transfer up to 50 lbs.
- 7Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
- 8Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required.
- 9Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
- 10Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
