Overview
As a Caregiver or CNA at Overture Home Care, you will own the daily well-being of clients across Dallas County, delivering in-home care at a personal scale. Working with a close-knit team of caregiving professionals, you will manage ADLs, medication reminders, and companionship while maintaining accurate documentation and clear communication. What You'll Do6
- 1Assist clients with all ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and dignity in the first 30 days.
- 2Provide companionship and emotional support, building trusting relationships that reduce client isolation and improve quality of life.
- 3Administer medication reminders and basic health monitoring as directed, documenting every action to maintain accuracy and safety.
- 4Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, using the Axis Care mobile app to log shifts and observations.
- 5Follow individualized care plans, communicating effectively with clients and family members to adapt to evolving needs.
- 6Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients, proactively identifying hazards and addressing them promptly.
Requirements7
- 1Valid certification as a CNA or relevant caregiving experience (e.g., home health aide, personal care assistant).
- 2Ability to provide care within a 30-mile radius of your home, covering Dallas, Garland, Sachse, Richardson, Plano, McKinney, Allen, and Frisco.
- 3Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation to travel between client locations.
- 4Ability to pass a background check, including criminal history and reference verification.
- 5Must work a minimum of 1 shift per week, with flexibility for changing schedules and client needs.
- 6Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling clear and compassionate interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- 7Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting with mobility, including standing, bending, and transferring clients.
