CAN/WAN Network Tier 3 Support
Overview
CAC/LAN Network Tier 3 provides ownership of implementation troubleshooting and maintenance of IT networks. This role designs and maintains network environments to comply with government standards and evaluates technology recommendations. You will work independently and as part of integrated teams applying advanced concepts to daily activities.
What You'll Do11
- 1Design configure and optimize CAN/LAN network architectures ensuring high availability scalability and performance
- 2Provide Tier 3 technical support for CAN/LAN infrastructure including troubleshooting configuration and resolution of complex issues
- 3Respond to escalated service tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- 4Analyze and resolve network performance issues such as latency bandwidth bottlenecks and packet loss
- 5Troubleshoot maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating system enhancements
- 6Support hardware infrastructure site surveys planning design and installation of equipment and cabling
- 7Provide transition planning and support services that accelerate delivery timelines reduce operational risk and ensure service continuity during transitions
- 8Work independently and as part of integrated teams applying advanced concepts and processes to daily activities
- 9Maintain documentation for network configurations procedures and incidents to ensure compliance with best practices and industry standards
- 10Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to junior network engineers and technicians
- 11Stay updated on emerging network technologies trends and security threats to continuously improve network infrastructure
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2TS/SCI with Poly required
- 3DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M IAT II required
- 4Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols such as OSPF BGP VLAN Spanning Tree Protocol
- 5Advanced knowledge of network protocols TCP/IP and related technologies
