What You'll Do11

  • 1Create and modify CAD models manufacturing drawings tooling designs production fixtures
  • 2Develop and optimize CAM programs for CNC machining including multi-axis applications
  • 3Support setup operation of CNC routers related manufacturing equipment
  • 4Design tooling fixtures molds production aids to improve manufacturing efficiency
  • 5Collaborate with engineering production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges
  • 6Troubleshoot programming tooling setup production issues on shop floor
  • 7Review part designs for manufacturability recommend process improvements
  • 8Assist project planning estimating manufacturing workflow support
  • 9Maintain documentation related engineering changes tooling fixtures CNC programs
  • 10Support quality initiatives through blueprint interpretation GD&T application inspection verification
  • 11Provide technical guidance mentorship to less experienced team members

Requirements13

  • 15+ years CAD/CAM programming experience manufacturing environment
  • 2Strong CAD design CAM programming CNC machining processes experience
  • 3Tooling fixtures manufacturing support equipment experience
  • 4Hands-on CNC setup with multi-axis machines
  • 5Understanding machining principles manufacturing workflows
  • 6Ability to read interpret engineering drawings blueprints GD&T requirements
  • 7Excellent troubleshooting problem-solving skills
  • 8Strong communication collaboration abilities
  • 9Ability to work independently support cross-functional teams
  • 10Preferred plastic fabrication thermoforming CNC routing experience
  • 11Programming 3-axis 5-axis CNC equipment familiarity SolidWorks CAMWorks or similar software
  • 12Previous mentoring training technical leadership experience
  • 13Working with Fagor controls or similar CNC control systems
