What You'll Do11
- 1Create and modify CAD models manufacturing drawings tooling designs production fixtures
- 2Develop and optimize CAM programs for CNC machining including multi-axis applications
- 3Support setup operation of CNC routers related manufacturing equipment
- 4Design tooling fixtures molds production aids to improve manufacturing efficiency
- 5Collaborate with engineering production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges
- 6Troubleshoot programming tooling setup production issues on shop floor
- 7Review part designs for manufacturability recommend process improvements
- 8Assist project planning estimating manufacturing workflow support
- 9Maintain documentation related engineering changes tooling fixtures CNC programs
- 10Support quality initiatives through blueprint interpretation GD&T application inspection verification
- 11Provide technical guidance mentorship to less experienced team members
Requirements13
- 15+ years CAD/CAM programming experience manufacturing environment
- 2Strong CAD design CAM programming CNC machining processes experience
- 3Tooling fixtures manufacturing support equipment experience
- 4Hands-on CNC setup with multi-axis machines
- 5Understanding machining principles manufacturing workflows
- 6Ability to read interpret engineering drawings blueprints GD&T requirements
- 7Excellent troubleshooting problem-solving skills
- 8Strong communication collaboration abilities
- 9Ability to work independently support cross-functional teams
- 10Preferred plastic fabrication thermoforming CNC routing experience
- 11Programming 3-axis 5-axis CNC equipment familiarity SolidWorks CAMWorks or similar software
- 12Previous mentoring training technical leadership experience
- 13Working with Fagor controls or similar CNC control systems
