Overview

Lead market expansion for Oceaneering Mobile Robotics across Houston and the Southeast, owning revenue growth and new customer acquisition for AGV and AMR solutions. You will partner with technical and commercial teams to build practical solutions, with success measured by revenue generated and projects won. What You'll Do9

  • 1Build a qualified sales pipeline across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, energy, and aerospace through targeted outreach, networking, and industry associations.
  • 2Drive discovery activities, facility assessments, and workshops to define customer requirements and success criteria for AGV and AMR deployments.
  • 3Lead complex sales opportunities involving operational, engineering, IT, finance, and executive stakeholders, managing multi-month decision processes.
  • 4Develop business cases and commercial strategies that position Oceaneering as a trusted automation partner, balancing technical feasibility and business risk.
  • 5Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline reporting using CRM platforms, ensuring visibility into territory growth and revenue projections.
  • 6Coordinate with internal technical teams to design customer-focused solutions that meet operational and financial goals.
  • 7Gather competitive intelligence and customer feedback to inform product strategy and go-to-market messaging.
  • 8Support continuous improvement of sales processes, value propositions, and negotiation approaches.
  • 9Establish a visible commercial presence in Texas and surrounding states, building relationships with executive and operational stakeholders.

Requirements9

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • 27+ years of business development, technical sales, or account development in industrial automation, robotics, material handling, or B2B industries.
  • 3Proven track record of new business development through proactive outbound prospecting and territory expansion.
  • 4Demonstrated success managing complex solution sales with extended sales cycles and significant capital investment decisions.
  • 5Experience coordinating cross-functional sales efforts with technical, operational, financial, and executive stakeholders.
  • 6Ability to lead customers through business case development, solution evaluation, and commercial negotiations.
  • 7Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build technical credibility.
  • 8Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and modern prospecting tools.
  • 9Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight trips.
