Business Analyst, IT Services & Microsoft Solutions
Overview
Own business analysis for enterprise Microsoft solution delivery at a global IT firm. You will bridge client requirements and technical teams across Azure, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365 projects. Work alongside solution architects and developers in a certified Microsoft Gold Partner environment. This role drives process improvement and stakeholder alignment on high-impact technology rollouts.
What You'll Do8
- 1Gather and document business requirements for Microsoft-based solutions, translating them into functional specs
- 2Model current and future state processes with Visio and Azure DevOps to identify gaps and improvements
- 3Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops to validate assumptions and prioritize features
- 4Design and deliver Power BI dashboards and Excel reports to track project metrics and KPIs
- 5Coordinate with development teams to ensure requirements are met in Azure and Dynamics 365 builds
- 6Manage change requests and traceability matrices to keep project scope aligned with business goals
- 7Perform gap analysis and impact assessments for system enhancements and integrations
- 8Facilitate UAT sessions and document test results for Microsoft platform deployments
Requirements8
- 13+ years as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, ideally in IT services
- 22+ years working with Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Power Platform, or Dynamics 365
- 3Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field
- 4Experience in requirement elicitation, process modeling, and functional documentation
- 5Proficiency in SQL for data validation and ad-hoc reporting
- 6Strong capability with Agile tools like Azure DevOps or Jira
- 7Excellent verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences
- 8CBAP or PBA certification is a plus
