We seek a proactive skilled Building Maintenance Technician to ensure optimal operation safety and appearance of facilities at Brandywine Plaza Hotel in Philadelphia. What You'll Do9
- 1Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical plumbing HVAC and mechanical systems to ensure continuous operation.
- 2Repair and maintain interior features including walls ceilings flooring doors windows and painting to uphold aesthetic standards.
- 3Troubleshoot electrical equipment using schematics ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools performing electrical work safely and efficiently.
- 4Maintain plumbing systems by repairing leaks unclogging drains replacing fixtures and performing system repairs as needed.
- 5Operate hand tools and power tools for carpentry tasks such as installing or repairing fixtures cabinetry or framing structures.
- 6Manage facilities equipment maintenance including HVAC system repair welding tasks programmable logic controllers and other specialized machinery.
- 7Support customer service efforts by responding promptly to maintenance requests and communicating effectively with staff regarding ongoing repairs or projects.
- 8Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- 9Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using schematics and MRO procedures to track work history.
Requirements9
- 15+ years building interior maintenance and facilities upkeep.
- 2Proficiency in electrical work including repair of electrical equipment and understanding schematics.
- 3Hands-on experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair familiarity with plumbing codes.
- 4Knowledge of HVAC systems including repair techniques for heating cooling ventilation units and ability to troubleshoot HVAC issues.
- 5Skill in welding techniques for metal repairs or fabrication tasks.
- 6Ability to operate hand tools power tools schematics reading skills and diagnostic instruments such as ohmmeters.
- 7Experience with programmable logic controllers is a plus for managing automated systems.
- 8Excellent customer service skills with clear communication in English and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- 9Leadership qualities to oversee small projects or mentor junior team members when necessary.
