Building Automation Account Manager, BAS Sales
Overview
You will own the full sales cycle for building automation solutions in the Minneapolis metro, driving revenue growth for a stable, growing company. You will combine outside sales, estimating, and project oversight to deliver tailored BAS solutions to construction and facility clients. You will work alongside engineering and technical teams to scope and close projects, with a focus on root-cause analysis and system enhancements. This role rewards technical know-how and sales drive, offering a flexible base plus commission and a car and cell stipend.

- 1Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the building automation sector.

- 3Provide expert guidance on building automation systems and solutions to clients.
- 4Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet client specifications and are delivered on time and within budget.
- 5Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.
- 6Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitors to effectively position the company's products and services.
- 7Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- 8Assist in the development of marketing strategies and sales tools to promote building automation services.
Requirements9
- 1Proven experience in building automation or related fields.
- 2Strong understanding of building automation systems, BAS software, and hardware.
- 3Experience with Siemens products is a plus but not required.
- 4Project management experience is preferred.
- 5Excellent technical and sales skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- 6Familiarity with electricity, mechanical systems, VFDs, and industrial control systems.
- 7Knowledge of BACnet and control networks is desirable but not required.
- 8Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is great.
- 9Strong organizational and time management skills.
