Overview

Brewer Assistant will support all stages of our craft brewing process at our small Texas brewery and ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and quality control at scale. You will work hands-on across milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, fermenting, conditioning, and packaging with a team focused on excellence. This role thrives in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and contributes to recipe development and process improvements.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and monitor fermentation progress and record brewing data to inform quality control
  • 2Assist with kegging, canning, and packaging operations to ensure timely, accurate fulfillment
  • 3Clean and sanitize brewing equipment, tanks, kegs, and work areas using CIP/SIP procedures
  • 4Maintain inventory of raw materials and brewing supplies to support production planning
  • 5Collaborate with the brewing team on recipe development and process improvements
  • 6Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • 7Assist with routine maintenance of brewing equipment
  • 8Support quality control processes to ensure consistency and excellence in all products
  • 9Support all stages of the brewing process from milling to packaging
  • 10Ensure operational readiness for weekend and evening shifts as needed

Requirements9

  • 11-2 years of brewery or beverage production experience
  • 2Working knowledge of brewhouse operations and fermentation processes
  • 3Strong understanding of sanitation standards and procedures
  • 4Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding production environment
  • 5Comfortable working in wet, hot/cold, and fast-paced conditions
  • 6Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • 7Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
  • 8Flexible availability including some weekends/evenings as needed
  • 9TABC certified
