What You'll Do8
- 1Receive, label, and store incoming samples following company guidelines, ensuring accurate location and condition tracking.
- 2Create, update, and archive sample records in Benchling with precise data entry and documentation.
- 3Process researcher sample requests, delivering materials promptly with complete chain-of-custody records.
- 4Collaborate with lab teams to reconcile sample data, resolving discrepancies and maintaining data integrity.
- 5Implement best practices for sample management, including storage protocols and labeling standards.
- 6Comply with safety and regulatory standards for biological sample handling and storage.
- 7Participate in data audits to verify system accuracy and support continuous improvement.
- 8Support additional projects that enhance sample operations and workflow efficiency.
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field.
- 20-2 years in sample management, lab operations, or inventory management preferred.
- 3Proficiency in Benchling or similar LIMS for sample tracking and data entry.
- 4Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- 5Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
- 6Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- 7Basic lab techniques including pipetting, labeling, and proper sample storage.
- 8Data entry skills with high accuracy and database maintenance experience.
