Billing Specialist Park Springs Accounting
Overview
The Billing Specialist owns member demographics and invoice processing for multiple departments at Park Springs. This role supports the Accounting Director in daily operations and ensures accurate billing for diverse services. It involves managing cash receipts and providing financial analysis.
What You'll Do11
- 1Compiles and inputs member demographics into the computer for billing using Matrixcare and Retail tracker along with insurance and Medicare Websites
- 2Receives and posts ancillary charges for monthly billing across independent living assisted living memory care adult day skilled nursing outpatient therapy
- 3Processes Medicare Part A and B claims and insurance processing
- 4Facilitates Triple Check meetings for Medicare and Managed Care billing
- 5Balances cash receipts and runs End of Month processing
- 6Posts incoming payments from members insurance and Medicare
- 7Conducts monthly accounts receivable analysis
- 8Observes all safety rules and regulations
- 9Ensures HIPAA compliance by following written policies to protect PHI
- 10Maintains OIG compliance through adherence to federal and state laws
- 11Interacts with members and coworkers respectfully
Requirements11
- 1Associate degree from an accredited twoyear college or university or equivalent education and experience
- 2Minimum three years of related work experience or specialized training
- 3Demonstrated knowledge of billing processes and healthcare regulations
- 4Ability to lift twenty pounds frequently
- 5Physical stamina to perform tasks such as stooping bending stretching and squatting
- 6Experience working in a fast paced environment
- 7Familiarity with AWS Certified solutions
- 8Understanding of Kubernetes architecture
- 9Proficiency with React frameworks
- 10Experience deploying solutions on AWS platforms
- 11Knowledge of Spark and Airflow for data pipeline management
