The Business Office Manager leads daily accounting operations overseeing financial records billing and resident trust funds. This role drives efficient cash management and supports residents with compassionate service.
What You'll Do11
- 1Balance individual Resident accounts and provide copies of statements
- 2Prepare and disburse monthly cash allowances
- 3Create and distribute monthly billing statements
- 4Assist Residents with medical assistance applications and verify eligibility
- 5Complete representative payee forms on behalf of Residents
- 6Coordinate closure of deceased Resident accounts including trust accounts and funeral expenses
- 7Establish and maintain filing systems for the Business Office
- 8Review weekly account receivables with the Administrator
- 9Maintain resident comfort and privacy while interacting warmly
- 10Communicate effectively with residents visitors families and supervisors
- 11Answer call lights promptly and courteously in care areas
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons in collections and billing within skilled nursing facilities
- 3Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 4One year experience in an Accounting role
- 5High school diploma or equivalent
