What You'll Do9
- 1Build claims submissions that maximize timely reimbursement and reduce denials
- 2Follow up on insurance balances across divisions and resubmit/appeal as required
- 3Submit medical records when requested to support claims processing
- 4Review and correct denials from payment specialists to recover revenue
- 5Answer incoming billing calls and provide service to patients and internal teams
- 6Back up the AR function as needed for guarantor accounts
- 7Assist management with delegated duties and process improvements
- 8Maintain accurate documentation and data in billing systems
- 9Support ongoing compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma or GED
- 25+ years in medical office billing with 2+ years dedicated to billing
- 3Experience with Greenway Intergy and Phreesia
- 4Proficiency in CPT HCPCS ICD-9 ICD-10 coding
- 5Professional verbal and written communication skills
- 6MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Access)
- 7Knowledge of medical billing and medical terminology
