Bilingual Customer Service Representative, Medical Scheduling
Overview
Own and manage patient scheduling and inquiries within a medical practice scale. You will handle high call volumes, verify patient information, and coordinate referrals under supervision. You will contribute to a customer-first culture in a fun professional environment. This role differs by combining bilingual English/Spanish communication with HIPAA compliance and medical scheduling needs.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build relationships with patients and providers to schedule and coordinate medical services
- 2Schedule and reschedule routine and non routine appointments for a patient population
- 3Manage inbound and outbound call volume in a timely manner
- 4Identify patient needs, verify information, and provide solutions or alternatives
- 5Document conversations and update patient records in the call center database
- 6Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers and services
- 7Assist with maintaining patient addresses and phone numbers
- 8Enter daily data for medical appointments and patient information
- 9Respond to voicemails and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- 10Collaborate with call center teammates to improve customer service
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma or GED required
- 2Two years of customer service experience preferred
- 3Able to pass state/federal background security check
- 4Ability to read write and communicate in English and Spanish
- 5Strong phone and verbal communication skills with active listening
