Overview
Bilingual Chinese & English Receptionist will own the front desk at an adult day center, managing daily office operations and client check-ins. She will coordinate appointments, handle multi-line phone systems, and provide administrative support to a diverse team. This role blends reception and clerical duties, offering hands-on experience in office management within a healthcare-adjacent setting.
What You'll Do8
- 1Greet visitors and clients in Chinese and English, creating a positive first impression
- 2Answer incoming calls on multi-line phone systems, using professional phone etiquette
- 3Manage appointment scheduling and calendar coordination, ensuring precise office correspondence
- 4Execute clerical tasks: data entry, word processing, proofreading, and maintaining organized files
- 5Support office management: supply inventory, mail distribution, and general administrative tasks
- 6Communicate with clients and team members to resolve inquiries and provide support
- 7Assist with personal assistant duties, including scheduling and coordinating meetings
- 8Arrange transportation for members, coordinating with external services
Requirements7
- 12+ years of office management or front desk experience in a busy environment
- 2Bilingual fluency in Chinese and English with excellent verbal and written communication
- 3Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills
- 4Clerical experience: phone answering, data entry, proofreading, and document management
- 5Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- 6Experience with multi-line phone systems and delivering outstanding customer support
- 7Customer service or client communication experience preferred; personal assistant experience a plus
