Bellperson/Shuttle Driver, Hotel Guest Services
Overview
Own the guest arrival and departure experience at a 94-room boutique hotel. You will be the first and last impression for every guest, managing luggage flow, shuttle transport, and front-door hospitality. Join a tight-knit team that values warm, personal service. This full-time role includes weekends and holidays, with total compensation ranging from $16-$20/hr including tips.
What You'll Do10
- 1Greet guests warmly as they arrive, opening doors and welcoming them to the hotel.
- 2Unload luggage from vehicles and deliver it to the front desk, then escort guests to their rooms with luggage in tow.
- 3Familiarize guests with room amenities, including Wi-Fi, temperature control, and directions to the Birdseye Rooftop Pool.
- 4Transport guests to local attractions within a 3-mile radius using the hotel shuttle, adhering to the schedule.
- 5Maintain shuttle cleanliness and monitor routine maintenance, reporting issues to the Front Office Manager.
- 6Store and retrieve luggage from the bell closet, logging every transaction.
- 7Deliver mail and packages to in-house guests promptly, including special requests from the front desk.
- 8Notify the front desk of VIP arrivals via two-way radio.
- 9Assist guests with local directions and information, and stay informed of in-house events daily.
- 10Support the valet team to maintain smooth traffic flow and keep the front door area clean and presentable.
Requirements8
- 11+ years of customer service experience, with hospitality experience preferred.
- 2Must be at least 18 years old.
- 3Hold a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
- 4Ability to stand and walk for 90% of the shift, and lift, push, or pull 30 lbs.
- 5Comfortable bending, stooping, squatting, and lifting frequently.
- 6Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 7Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- 8Practice all safety and emergency procedures and comply with hotel policies.
