Behavioral Health Professional, BHRF & Residential Care
Overview
Own clinical delivery within a residential behavioral health facility serving adults with mental health substance use trauma and co occurring challenges. You will contribute as a key clinical member of a multidisciplinary team and help residents stabilize recover and prepare for next steps at scale in Phoenix AZ. The role blends direct therapeutic work with documentation team collaboration and discharge planning. What You'll Do10
- 1Build intake assessments and psychosocial evaluations for residents in line with Arizona BHRF requirements
- 2Develop individualized treatment plans based on needs strengths risks diagnoses and recovery goals
- 3Provide individual group and family therapeutic services within your scope of licensure
- 4Use trauma informed approaches with residents
- 5Assess resident progress and update treatment plans and interventions
- 6Complete timely accurate clinical documentation and progress notes in the EHR
- 7Participate in treatment team meetings clinical case reviews staffing discussions and discharge planning
- 8Conduct risk assessments support safety planning suicide prevention crisis intervention and behavioral stabilization
- 9Coordinate with BHTs BHPPs psychiatric medical and outpatient providers involved in care
- 10Support safe transitions from the BHRF to the next level of care
Requirements10
- 1At least 21 years of age
- 2Master's or doctoral level behavioral health education appropriate for BHP designation
- 3Meet Arizona requirements for a Behavioral Health Professional
- 4Current Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain/maintain
- 5Ability to meet background and exclusion requirements
- 6Strong clinical assessment treatment planning documentation and crisis intervention skills
- 7Ability to work effectively with adults with mental health substance use trauma and co occurring conditions
- 8Arizona Licensure options include LCSW LPC LMFT LISAC Licensed Psychologist or other appropriately licensed professionals
- 9Master's level professionals not independently licensed may be considered with appropriate supervision
- 10Two or more years of behavioral health experience preferred
