MeBe seeks a compassionate Behavior Technician to deliver play-filled ABA therapy for children with autism. This full‑time onsite role in San Diego involves teaching social communication and daily living skills in 1:1 settings while collaborating with BCBAs and supervisors. What You'll Do11
- 1Teach and nurture behavioral communication and daily living skills in 1:1 settings
- 2Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to improve communication and self‑help abilities
- 3Record observations in Central Reach after each session
- 4Clock in submit notes and clock out per ABA and insurance regulations
- 5Assist with family communication and maintain workplace organization
- 6Help with meal breaks bathroom changes and diaper assistance
- 7Support project tasks directed by site directors and supervisors
- 8Ask questions and seek guidance from supervisors
- 9Build positive relationships with families while upholding professional boundaries
- 10Contribute to MeBe Family culture and values
- 11Maintain accurate records and adhere to safety protocols
Requirements10
- 1Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- 2Age 18 or older with consistent weekday availability
- 3RBT or CBT certification preferred must be obtained within 60 days
- 4Background in child care teaching counseling or babysitting
- 5Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- 6High school diploma or equivalent
- 7Minimum bachelor’s degree in Pediatrics or Human Development preferred
- 8First Aid and CPR certification required if residing in CA AZ or VA
- 9Ability to pass background check
- 10Computer proficiency
