Behavioral Therapy Assistant
Overview
Registered Behavior Technician under BCBA to implement treatment plans and conduct 1:1 behavioral therapy. Support persons with disabilities while maintaining professionalism and adhering to HIPAA policies. Provide care across community settings.
What You'll Do8
- 1Implement treatment plans and assist BCBA in delivering behavioral interventions
- 2Conduct well-written session summaries and behavior notes
- 3Maintain accurate documentation and parent communications
- 4Follow HIPAA compliance and RBT certification requirements
- 5Attend monthly staff meetings and teach functional play
- 6Follow intervention plans as directed
- 7Display professionalism during all interactions
- 8Document progress and communicate findings to supervisors
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma
- 2Ability to lift 50 pounds
- 3Pass RBT certification exam within 60 days
- 4Reliable transportation for commuting
- 5Excellent communication skills
- 6Strong social interaction abilities
- 7Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities
