Behavior Technician Job in San Francisco | Pine Health
Overview
You will support students with significant behavior challenges in the 2026/2027 school year. This role works with teachers to deliver instructional activities and manage classroom behavior in San Francisco schools. You will implement IEP goals and behavior plans under the direction of a BCBA. This position offers full-time hours with medical, dental, and vision insurance.
What You'll Do10
- 1Prepare instructional materials and resources for classroom activities
- 2Facilitate small group or individual instruction under teacher direction
- 3Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs or learning difficulties
- 4Implement behavior management strategies as directed by the teacher or BCBA
- 5Assist with activities of daily living (ADL) for students with physical needs
- 6Monitor student behavior and intervene to maintain a productive learning environment
- 7Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff on student progress
- 8Participate in team meetings to discuss student strategies and IEP goals
- 9Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and non-instructional times
- 10Maintain classroom displays, bulletin boards, and clerical records
