Overview
You will implement behavior intervention plans for middle school students with moderate to severe needs in Lafayette, CA. What You'll Do9
- 1Implement ABA programs under the supervision of a BCBA, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction for middle schoolers.
- 2Collect and record behavioral data during sessions, using Central Reach or similar platforms to ensure accurate tracking.
- 3Run discrete trial training (DTT) and natural environment teaching (NET) sessions, adapting to each student's unique needs.
- 4Support students in classroom settings, helping them stay engaged and regulate emotions during transitions.
- 5Communicate daily with teachers and the clinical team to update progress and modify plans.
- 6Fade prompts and reinforce positive behaviors to build independence.
- 7Document session notes and incident reports in a timely manner.
- 8Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve intervention fidelity.
- 9Model professional behavior and maintain confidentiality with student records.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2Completed 40-hour behavioral training course or 6 months of ABA experience.
- 3Mental health experience with moderate to severe caseloads.
- 4Passion for working with middle school students.
- 5Available Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm.
- 6Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- 7Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and physically support students as needed.
- 8Must pass background check and TB test.
